Printable Worksheet Lab is a site of printable math and English worksheets for teachers, tutors and parents. You can browse and try every worksheet without an account, and download a few before you are asked to sign in. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.
The short version
- Without an account you can download 3 worksheets every 30 days. A free account removes the limit.
- If you sign in, we keep your email address and a list of what you downloaded. There is no password.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
- You can delete your account, and everything tied to it, yourself at any time.
If you do not sign in
- Download counts. Each download is counted so we can show which worksheets are popular. To count each person once a day for each worksheet, we make a short code from your IP address and browser details. The code is one-way (it cannot be turned back into your IP address), changes every day, and is deleted after about 40 days. The worksheet itself is not saved anywhere: it is created when you ask for it.
- Free download cookie. To count the 3 free worksheets, we store a small cookie in your browser that holds only a number and the date the 30 days started. It holds nothing about you, is signed so it cannot be changed, and expires after 30 days.
- Security check. When you ask for a sign-in code, a quick check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) makes sure you are a person and not a program. It usually shows nothing. It does not use advertising cookies and is not used to track you across sites.
- Sign-in attempts. If you start to sign in, we count how many codes your connection asked for that day, using the same kind of one-way code, to stop abuse. These counts are deleted within a few days.
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and to protect the site from attacks. We do not use these logs to identify or track you.
If you sign in
- Your email address. We ask for it so we can email you a 6-digit code. The code is stored only in scrambled form, works for 10 minutes and is deleted as soon as it is used. If you never use it, it is deleted soon after it expires.
- Your downloads. We keep a list of the worksheets you download while signed in, so you can open them again from your account page. We keep it until you delete your account.
- Your sign-in. We set a cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. A second small cookie, with no personal information, only tells the site that you are signed in. Both are removed when you sign out.
- Membership. If some worksheets become members-only, we will also keep a record of what you are entitled to. If we start taking payments, this page will be updated first to say who handles them.
Why we use it
- To give you the worksheets and your account (this is the whole reason for the email address and the sign-in cookie).
- To show which worksheets are popular and to keep the site working and safe.
- We do not use your email address for marketing. We will only email you the sign-in code you asked for, unless you ask us something and we reply.
Who else handles the data
The site, its database and the sign-in emails are provided by Cloudflare, which stores and processes data on our behalf on its servers, mainly in North America. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. We may share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Delete. On your account page you can delete your account. This removes your email address, your sign-in sessions and your download history right away.
- See or correct. Everything we keep about you is your email address and your download list, and you can see your recent downloads on your account page. To ask for a copy or a correction, write to us.
- Cookies. You can block cookies in your browser. You can still browse and preview every worksheet, but you will need to sign in to download, and you will not be able to stay signed in.
Children
The site is for adults: teachers, tutors and parents. Students do not need an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us their email address, please tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and its date before the change starts.
