Shape recognition worksheets
Circle or color the circles, squares, triangles and rectangles hidden in each row.
Find an unknown angle: complementary, supplementary, vertical, in a triangle, or between parallel lines.
Each picture is drawn to scale and gives one angle in degrees. Students find the angle marked x using one fact: angles in a right angle add to 90, angles on a straight line add to 180, vertical angles are equal, the angles of a triangle add to 180, and parallel lines cut by a transversal make equal or supplementary angles.
Pick one relationship to practice or mix all five. Every answer is a single whole number of degrees. The solved example names the rule it uses.
