Shape recognition worksheets
Circle or color the circles, squares, triangles and rectangles hidden in each row.
Find the circumference and area of a circle from its radius or diameter, in terms of pi or rounded to the hundredth.
Each circle is drawn with its radius or its diameter labeled. Students use C = 2πr and A = πr². Choose circumference, area or both, a radius or a diameter in the picture (or a mix), and whether to leave pi in the answer (14π) or to round to the hundredth with a calculator.
Every radius is a whole number, so answers in terms of pi are whole numbers of pi. The decimal answers are checked so that none sits on a rounding edge, and the answer key shows every answer.
