Shape recognition worksheets
Circle or color the circles, squares, triangles and rectangles hidden in each row.
Plot points given as ordered pairs, or read the ordered pairs of marked points, in one quadrant or four.
Plotting pages list lettered ordered pairs and a blank grid; students mark each point with a dot and write its letter. Reading pages show lettered points on the grid and a table where students write each ordered pair. The x-coordinate always comes first.
Use the first quadrant (grid squares from 0) or all four quadrants with negative numbers, and a grid from 6 to 10 squares. At most one point lies on an axis, and no two points sit next to each other, so every label is easy to read.
US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
