Multiples and common multiples

Write the multiples of a number, or the multiples two numbers have in common.

About this worksheet

In list mode each problem gives one number and students write its first eight multiples. In common multiples mode they write the multiples of two numbers up to a fixed limit, then write the numbers that appear in both rows.

The limit is chosen so there are always exactly two common multiples, and the first one is the least common multiple. That makes this a gentle first step towards finding the LCM.
