Multiplication facts worksheets
Times-table drills: one table, a range of tables, squares or anchor facts, in order or shuffled.
Multiply each place value pair on its own line, then add the partial products.
Partial products is the written form of the grid method. Each problem lists every pair of place values (for example 20 × 10, 3 × 10, 20 × 4 and 3 × 4) and students write each product, then the total.
It is a good bridge between the grid method and the standard algorithm, because every step is visible.
