Each problem shows a full protractor with both scales, marked every degree, and an angle with its vertex at the center and one arm on the base line. Students read the scale that starts at 0 on the arm that lies along the base line. The arm sits on the right for some angles and on the left for others, so students must choose the right scale.
Choose angles in tens, in fives or to the nearest degree. The protractor is drawn exactly, so the answer printed in the key is the true size of the angle drawn.
