You can change any of these settings above. Press "New problems" for a fresh set with the same settings, or pick Version A to Z to print different sheets for neighboring desks. The answer key always matches.

About shape recognition worksheets

Each row names one shape and shows six shapes of different sizes and turns. Children circle or color only the shapes with that name. Triangles lean, rectangles lie down or stand up, and circles come in several sizes, so a child has to look at the shape and not just at its position.

Choose circling or coloring, and add the hexagon when the four basic shapes are secure. The answer key shows every shape that should be marked. The instructions are short enough for an adult to read aloud.

Printing

US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
