Shape recognition worksheets
Circle or color the circles, squares, triangles and rectangles hidden in each row.
Name each drawn angle: acute, right, obtuse or straight.
Every angle is drawn with an exact size and turned to a different direction, so a right angle is not always the corner of the page. Right angles carry a square mark, the others a small arc. Angles are kept at least 15 degrees away from a right angle, so no case is a close call.
Choose three types (acute, right, obtuse) or add the straight angle. Students circle the name. The answer key circles the correct word.
US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
