Addition worksheets
Printable addition practice with control over digits, regrouping and layout.
Color every square whose sum makes the target number, for example 10, to reveal a hidden picture.
A grid of addition facts hides a picture. Students work out each sum and color only the squares that make the target, such as 10. The picture appears when they are right, so it doubles as a self-check.
Wrong squares are near misses (sums one to four away), so students must add rather than guess. Choose a target from 6 to 12 and a picture; the answer key shows the finished image.
US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
