About negative fractions and decimals

Operands can be positive or negative. Choose fractions, decimals or both, and addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, or all four. Negative second numbers are written in brackets.

Fraction answers are in lowest terms (improper fractions are fine) and decimal answers have no extra zeros. Every division comes out exactly, and the numbers are small enough to do by hand. The solved example states the sign rule that applies.
