Number bonds and complements
Pairs that make 10, 20, 100 or 1000 (and the 9s, 99s and 999s), as missing-number sums or as subtraction.
Write numbers in words and number names as digits, from 3 digits up to millions.
Each problem is either a number to write in words (47,312 is forty-seven thousand, three hundred twelve) or a number name to write with digits. Choose one direction or mix both, and the size of the numbers from 3 digits to 7 digits (millions).
Number names use American style: hyphens from 21 to 99, no "and", and commas between the groups of three digits. Zeros in the middle of a number (40,507) are included unless you switch them off. Every sheet has a solved example and an answer key, and there is a large-print version.
