About number pyramids

Each block of the pyramid is the sum of the two blocks under it. A few blocks are filled in and students find the others, adding to go up and subtracting to go down.

Every pyramid has exactly one solution. Pick three rows for second grade, four rows for third grade, or five rows with bigger numbers for older students, and choose how many blocks are given.

Printing

US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
