About sum triangles

Each triangle has three circles and three side boxes. A side is always the sum of the two circles at its ends. Younger children add the circles and write each sum. Older children are given the sides, or a mix of circles and sides, and work out the rest.

Every triangle has exactly one answer. Choose sides up to 10 for early addition, sides up to 20 for first and second grade facts, or negative numbers for students meeting integers.

Printing

US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
