Number bonds and complements
Pairs that make 10, 20, 100 or 1000 (and the 9s, 99s and 999s), as missing-number sums or as subtraction.
Mazes that follow the counting order: 1 to 20, or skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s.
Students find the route through a grid by following the numbers in order, one step up, down, left or right at a time. With the step set to 1 they count from 1; with 2, 3, 5 or 10 they skip count.
Every maze has exactly one route. Other squares hold numbers from the same counting pattern, so students must check each step rather than look for a path by eye. The answer key shades the route.
