Decimal grids: tenths and hundredths

Color in a decimal, fraction or percent on a 100-square grid, or write the decimal, fraction or percent that is colored in.

About this worksheet

Every grid has 100 squares in ten rows of ten. A whole row is one tenth, a single square is one hundredth. Students color in the amount named, row by row, or read the colored part and write it. Choose decimals, fractions or percents, and tenths only or hundredths.

The same picture shows 0.37, 37/100 and 37%, so these pages link the three forms. Hundredths are never a whole number of tenths, so each answer has one correct form.

Printing

US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
