Sorting and classifying shapes
Sort a group of shapes by one attribute: count each kind, or circle every shape that matches.
Read a dot plot and find a count, a number of values above a point, the most common value and the range.
Each dot is one person or one time. Students count dots at a value, count the dots above a value, name the most common value (the mode) and find the range from the lowest and highest dots.
Every plot has one most common value, so there is exactly one correct answer to each question. The answer key lists all the answers.
