Word searches
Word searches for sight words, phonics patterns and ten topics, with every word hidden exactly once.
A grid of look-alike words: color every box with the sight word and count them.
Each grid asks for one Dolch sight word. The other boxes hold words that look alike, starting with the same letter or with the same length, so children have to read every box, not just spot a shape.
Children color the boxes with the word and write how many they found. Choose the Dolch list from pre-primer to third grade. The answer key shows the colored boxes and the count.
US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
