Sorting and classifying shapes
Sort a group of shapes by one attribute: count each kind, or circle every shape that matches.

You can change any of these settings above. Press "New problems" for a fresh set with the same settings, or pick Version A to Z to print different sheets for neighboring desks. The answer key always matches.
Each picture shows a spinner or a bag of marbles and names one color. Students decide whether landing on or picking that color is certain (every part is that color), likely (almost all of it), unlikely (only a small part) or impossible (none of it).
The pictures never show an in-between case such as exactly half, so each question has one clear answer. Colors are shown with a small key under every picture, and the black and white edition uses gray tones and stripes with the same names.
US Letter or A4, portrait: choose your paper size above. Print at 100 percent (actual size). Use "Black and white" for the copier, or "Color" for display pages and mini books.
