Fraction pictures: bars and circles
Write the fraction shown on a bar or circle, or color in the fraction named, with denominators from 2 to 12.
Write three or four fractions in order, least to greatest or greatest to least.
Each question gives a row of fractions in a mixed-up order. Students write them again in the right order in the boxes underneath. Pick fractions with the same denominator, the same numerator, or mixed denominators, three or four at a time.
Mixed denominators are chosen so that a small common denominator always exists, and no two fractions in a question have the same value, so every question has exactly one correct order.
