Probability as a fraction

Find the probability of an event for a spinner, a bag of marbles or a die and write it as a fraction.

About this worksheet

Each picture is a spinner with equal sections, a bag of marbles or a fair die. Students count the outcomes that match and write the probability as a fraction. Some questions ask for one color, some for two colors together and some for "not" a color.

Leave "answers may need simplifying" off to keep every fraction already in simplest form, or turn it on so that answers such as 2/8 and 3/6 must be reduced. The key shows each answer in simplest form.

Printing
